Exhale, Cleveland — your fine city is finally home to champions again.

The Cleveland Cavaliers just handed the Ohio city its first professional sports championship in 52 years, and Akron native LeBron James returned to personally deliver it — just as he promised.

In return, No. 23 was unanimously named the Most Valuable Player of the NBA Finals — the third time he has been bestowed with such an honor.

The deciding Game 7 — a 93-89 clincher — was closer than the rest of the full-length series’ individual contests were to this point.

The Cavs are now the the first team in the history of the Finals to come all the way back from a 3-1 deficit in the best-of-seven series and win the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

These NBA Finals — a rematch from 2015 — have been mired in controversy.

First, key Warriors player Draymond Green was suspended for Game 5 following an on-court altercation with James. The Oakland-area power forward appeared to possibly deliver a low-blow to the Cavs star in Game 4, an illegal and dirty move that Green has a history of performing.

Golden State star and reigning NBA regular season MVP Steph Curry was ejected from Game 6 following a very questionable foul. He and coach Steve Kerr were later fined for criticizing the officials. Even Curry’s wife got in on the griping via Twitter, something the media and public were quick to pick up on.

Many — including Mrs. Curry — have accused the NBA of purposefully favoring underdog Cleveland to extend the series, thus making more money for the league and its partners. The home crowd at Golden State’s Oracle Arena loudly booed NBA Commissioner Adam Silver during Sunday evening’s post-game trophy presentation.

Last year, the Warriors took six games to defeat the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. That series was missing the then-injured Kyrie Irving, who played a big role in Cleveland’s postseason run this time around.

Golden State broke the regular-season NBA record for wins across 2015-16, netting 73 triumphs to just nine losses. Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls previously held the high-water mark, with 72 victories versus 10 losses.

James previously carried the Miami Heat to the same top podium — twice. He began his amazing career with the Cavs, before departing for South Beach. The so-called “Chosen One” and “King” came back to Cleveland for the 2014-15 season.

NBA’s Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green, who is also playing on the U.S. Olympic team, apologized Sunday for sharing a photo of his penis on the social media site Snapchat.

The Olympic team member posted the image on Sunday and said he realized his mistake right away.

“It was a situation where it was meant to be a private message,” Green said, according to ESPN.

“I kinda hit the wrong button and it sucks,” he went on to say. “It was meant to be private. We’re all one click away from placing something in the wrong place, and I suffered from that this morning.”

The photo was public for 10 minutes before being taken down.

In an apparent move to play off the unintended and explicit selfie, Green first indicated to this followers that his account was hacked:

But then he fessed up right before Team USA took the court for practice at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, revealing that he accidentally hit the wrong button on his phone.

This isn’t the first time Green has found himself in hot water. Just this month, Green made a plea deal to avoid jail time and receive reduced the charges for allegedly slapping Michigan State University football player Jermaine Edmondson and for a noise violation, according to ESPN.

Hard foul or fake flop? That was the question Monday night during the Golden State Warriors/ Cleveland Cavaliers game when LeBron James took a dramatic fall to the floor after being fouled by rival Draymond Green.

James had the ball and was making a quick transition break when, mid-court, Green reached in to make a steal and they collided. Thrown backwards, James dropped.

The TNT color commentator noted, “This wasn’t that hard of a foul; it’s not going to end the world…. That’s just a regular foul.”

Seasoned announcer Marv Albert asked, “You’re indicating that LeBron may be play acting a little bit?”

Green made his opinion of that move known while referees reviewed the play — he walked over to the floor seats on the Warriors’ side of the arena and mocked James by flailing his arms around.

Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors held off LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals on Monday. But the real gift went to ABC in the form of a ratings surge for Christmas Day NBA coverage. ESPN didn’t do too shabby either.

Overall, the Disney-owned networks’ four-game slate averaged a 3.9 household rating in metered markets — up 39 percent compared to last year’s five Christmas Day games, according to preliminary numbers from Nielsen.

The 99-92 Warriors win was the fifth-highest rated early game (3 p.m. ET) in ABC’s history, pulling in a 5.5 rating. And it wasn’t just James versus Durant that had viewers tuning in. The Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder matchup was ABC’s highest-rated primetime game since 2003, with a 4.1 rating.

The tilt between the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers on ESPN was the network’s top 12 p.m. ET Christmas game since 2012, with a 2.4 rating. The World Wide Leader in Sports’ second game of the day, a Washington Wizards vs. Boston Celtics matchup, posted a 3.7 rating.

Overall, ABC was first in broadcast ratings for the night, with a 1.8 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5.5 million.

Part of ABC and ESPN’s strong holiday numbers can be chalked up to compelling matchups, or the schedule working to its advantage since it fell on a Monday, the NBA had to deal with competition from just two NFL games. Last year, the NBA had a full day of NFL games on Christmas that split viewers.

The best moment came when someone impugned the manliness of Kobe Bryant, who learned he “looks like he crys (sic) to can I get a kiss from a rose by seal.” The song, of course, is “Kiss From a Rose” by English singer Seal, from the movie “Batman Forever.”

“Really?” Kobe said, who then did a pretty good Seal impression. “I’m not crying, but I will sing this s—,” he said.

And as for Draymond, he was told that his “jump shot is ALMOST as ugly as his face… Almost.” He countered that “it’s a damn good-looking jump shot,” but fortunately, he didn’t punch anyone in the junk.

Poor Fergie can’t catch a break.

The singer’s much-maligned national anthem performance at the NBA All-Star Game earlier this year is once again drawing laughs, with the Golden State Warriors dancing and chuckling to a new remix of Fergie’s performance — and it was all captured on Steph Curry’s Instagram Friday night.

The Warriors are clearly responding to Fergie’s ex-husband, Josh Duhamel, calling forward Draymond Green a “prick” during an interview Thursday. Duhamel recalled Green being caught on camera letting out a wry smile and laughing at the All-Star Game in February as Fergie wrapped up the anthem.

Duhamel, in an interview with Fox Sports’ Kristine Leahy, said if Green was a “real man” he would’ve called Fergie to apologize.

“I was pissed off at Draymond Green, first of all, I think he owed her an apology,” Duhamel said. “I thought he was kind of a prick, just because he knew the camera was on him and he snickered about it.”

Green, in response, joined several teammates — including Curry, Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins — in clowning Fergie’s performance once again in the locker room skit.

The beef appears to be dead, however. Duhamel tweeted Friday night “note to self: Think twice before you call out the champs. Well played @Warriors #NBATwitterisnojoke.” Green followed up, responding “Hahaha it was never any disrespect to her… But the challenge about to be lit G!” Seems like everyone is back to being friends.

With a 4-16 start to the season, the Golden State Warriors are amidst an unusual losing streak — and Steph Curry’s 7-year-old daughter Riley doesn’t understand why.

In a feature published earlier this week in The Athletic, Curry’s teammate Draymond Green recalls the Warriors’ recent loss to the Boston Celtics and the rather harsh — but humorous — question posed by Curry’s eldest daughter.

“The other day, I was getting them out of the family room after the [Celtics] game and Riley Curry was in there,” Green said. “She’s like: ‘Did we lose?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, Riley, we lost.’ She’s like: ‘Why do we keep losing?'”

“All my kids know is the Warriors winning,” Green told The Athletic. “So, us losing, it doesn’t make sense to them.”

Riley, who was born in 2012, has never seen the Warriors miss the playoffs. The team has also won three NBA championships since 2015.

But as several of the Warriors’ star players have been out due to injuries, including Riley’s father Steph, it remains to be seen whether the team will be able to turn the season around. As for how Green responded to Riley’s question?

“Green resisted the urge to point over at Riley’s father, mention that giant cast over his left hand and explain that, well, that’s the reason they keep losing,” The Athletic’s Anthony Slater wrote.

Instead, Green simply answered, “We’ll get better.” Or so he hopes.

NBA star Draymond Green has joined CNN as a contributor, a network spokesperson confirmed to TheWrap on Friday.

Green, who has been an outspoken advocate on issues related to racial justice and equality, appeared in his new contributor role on Friday’s “The Lead” with Jake Tapper, where he discussed the NBA strikes that have taken place this week in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

“I’m extremely proud of what my brothers in the bubble have accomplished over the last few days,” Green said, pointing to the social justice coalition, civic engagement ads and the voting centers that are being set up in arenas in response to the strikes. “When I look at that, the NBA has been leading this cause. I am proud to be a part of that and continue trying to help where we can.”

When asked about the change he wanted to see, Green said it was about “simple, basic human rights.”

“It’s holding these cops accountable that are killing unarmed Black people for no apparent reasons. They’re protected by all of these laws and they’re protected by these unions. That’s ridiculous,” he said. “Let’s change some of these laws, let’s stop the voter suppression taking up USPS mailboxes.”

Still, Draymond Green said he believed it was “very important” that the NBA, which expects to resume playoffs this weekend, continue playing.

“When you put it in terms of a concert, when a performer is on a stage, if you’re sitting in the nosebleeds, the only way you can hear that performer is because they have a microphone and they’re on the stage. And so if we leave our stage and we drop our microphone, we can no longer speak for those people that we are speaking for,” Green said. “If you look at it from a money and resource standpoint, there’s no surprise that tons of NBA guys, NBA teams and the league as a whole, contributes to the urban community, the Black community. I know I like to contribute as much as I possibly can. If we take those resources away, we’re taking resources away from ourselves to be able to continue this fight, and I don’t think that’s the right thing to do.”

Uninterrupted’s talk series “Throwing Bones” heads back to YouTube for a second season with Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green as host. 

“Throwing Bones,” which debuted in January, has become a meeting place where Hollywood entertainers and sports stars come together to candidly discuss various topics, including social issues, career journeys and everyday life happenings. 

The YouTube series, which lives underneath NBA champion LeBron James’ and Maverick Carter’s sports media brand Uninterrupted — a byproduct of the two’s development and production company SpringHill Company — will premiere its second season on Friday, Nov. 18.  

“Every culture in the world plays dominoes, here we call them Bones. Four-time NBA Champion Draymond Green hosts athletes, actors, artists, journalists, and entertainers to see who can make a point, while scoring points ultimately taking the title of the Bones Champ,” SpringHill Company said in a statement. 

This season already has some of its guests lined up, including Bay Area rapper E-40, professional boxer Ryan Garcia, celebrity jeweler Ben Baller, professional basketball player Juan Toscano-Anderson, sports analyst and ESPN host Jalen Rose, sports broadcaster Rosalyn Fatima Gold-Onwude and more. 

The Season 2 trailer opens with Green standing behind a barbecue grill, in front of a set designed to look like a backyard. “What’s up, I’m Draymond Green. Who wants the smoke?” Green asks. The trailer cuts to E-40, Jemele Hill and others playing a game of Dominoes. “I want all the smoke — especially at the table.”

A description of the series reads: “‘Throwing Bones’ is a competitive game of dominoes where pro-athletes, entertainers, and tastemakers can show up as their full selves to discuss any and everything in culture, unfiltered. It’s a meeting of the minds for a cultural expose of bones over a competitive game. Viewers will come on a journey that explores both the cultural touchstones of the game, its history and the lives of those who play it. From rising stars to the OG’s of culture, the show bridges the gap as they embrace the feeling of community, sharing a table, stories and a friendly, but fierce competitive spirit.”

The series will premiere exclusively on the Sports Emmy-winning Uninterrupted YouTube page on Nov. 18.
